Sweet Little Baby

'Rock a bye baby, on the tree top, when the wind blows..."  well... don't know what the baby in the cradle thinks, but wind makes me beyond cranky!!! Lets put it this way, things could get mighty ugly if we lived in a windy valley... need I say more... I HATE bad hair days!!!! Wind tends to do that...
anyway fellow crafties, back to business...
This cute little baby card was used using the Stampin Up! Something Sweet Stamp set. The boy version is coming soon... stay tuned... you will not miss out!
Love, love love this set!!! You can do sooo much with it... very versatile. I'm constantly thinking what things will fit into the little treat cups... err... here kitty kitty... mmm.. no.. too fat...

Inside this little rattle are some cute little pearl beads... not M&Ms this time... This pack came with heaps of other gorgeous colours. You will definately see these again soon!!! Yummy colours but not as yummy as the M&Ms... mmmm chocolate... mmmm...

Any way, I can hear the kettle calling... and the last of the chocolate. Will chat soon.
Enjoy your day,
Luv Deb x

Something Sweet

Hi De Ho my fellow crafties,
Well this Something Sweet stamp set has bought me much joy... It gave me an excuse to buy... yes... you guessed it... chocolate. Not that need an excuse, but I probably got a bit carried away. Well, I need to experiment... and have a variety to choose from. These cute little delicious babies were mini M&Ms. Gotta love these!!! I also got normal M&Ms, Malteasers, Jelly Beans, and Cool Mints... I told you, I need to experiment... stay tuned... and if they don't work, well... what a shame I just have to eat them!

I made an escape route for the 'yummies'... so the receiver can still keep the card.  Anyway, I have to go as I can hear the voices from the open M&M packet, you know the ones, 'Eat me, eat me...' I just don't want to disappoint. Will chat to you all soon.
Enjoy your day,
Luv Deb x

Nanna's Garden

Hi all,
This little card has caused me much grief... not in the actual doing but getting it photographed!!
The first rule in card making... do NOT drink red wine while working... if you have to... place glass on a completely seperate table!
Anyway, this is actually card #2 in my attempt (card #1 is in the bin smelling suspiciously of red grapes... mmmm... I wonder why..) in showing you the cute little hydrangeas made with a heart punch as seen on Valitas Designs and Fresh Folds... She does some amazing work!! You have to check it out!
This is my version... it reminds me of 'Nanna's Garden"... I promised you all more flowers...
Hope you all like it.
Enjoy the day,
... remember no red wine...
 Luv Deb x

Butterfly Punch Pansies

Hi all, hope all the post new year hangovers have ease off well and truly and everyone has set those 'New Years Resolutions'... you know the ones.... loose weight, drink less alcohol, exercise more blah blah blah... well I can but try... I will let you know how that one goes..
Anyhow... back to business...
I have yet again spent quite a few hours 'googling' (you can never google too much..) all the fabulous things to do with the Stampin Up! butterfly punch. A number of sites showed how to make Pansies using this punch and a bit of sponging.  This is my first attempt... stay tuned as I'm absolutely hooked on these pretty petals... you may see some more down the track!
Definately more fabulous flowers to come!!
Enjoy the day,
Deb x

Easy Events

The Easy Events stamp set is one of the fabulous products you receive when you sign up to become a Stampin Up! demonstrator. This one is so cool as it gives you an excuse to revisit your childhood and colour in again... but who need an excuse!!! I used my trusty Aqua Painter and inks for these cards. If you need to make a quick card in a hurry, or need to build a bit of an emergency stash, then this stamp set is the one to grab.
Enjoy the Day,
Luv Deb x

Kangaroo Paw

This was a beautiful photo taken by my other half... this is one of about a million flower photos we have accumulated over the years. There is something absolutely gorgeous about native flowers... some look almost prehistoric! Just had to scrap this one. I made the background papers using the fabulous florets stamp set, the aqua painter & inks. The aqua painter would have to be my favourite toy at the moment... loooove using it, sooo very easy but looks great! If you haven't tried one put it on your list of thing to do... or buy...
Below is a card made by just selecting a small section from the 12 x 12 layout and just playing around with it a bit... cheating, I know... but it works!!
If you live in Adelaide, stay cool...
Enjoy the day,

Fabulous Florets

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
I hope this year brings much joy and happiness to all my fellow crafties out there... I must admit though, I failed to see the new year in as I was in bed snoring away before the stroke of midnight... it was way too hot to get enthused about any thing much. Its going to be another scorcher here in Adelaide today!!! OMG... 'I'm meeeelllllting!!!!' I'm such a sook when it comes to hot weather... Bring on winter I say.
I did however, manage to photograph another card I make with the Stampin Up! 'Fabulous Florets' stamp set to share with you.
Enjoy the Day,
Luv Deb x
