Anzac Poppy...

I just wanted to pay respect to the devoted soldiers who fought, gave their lives, lost mates and suffered for us in the war as well as the suffering of their families... not forgetting those who are out there now!!! I thank you...

The poppy symbolised remembrance, so I thought it quite fitting to share my 'Poppy' Card..

Following the war, thousands of Poppies bloomed in the fields of Flanders in Western Europe.  The Poppy seeds had laid dormant until the soldiers boots churned & upturned the soil & fertilised with their blood... symbolising new life from death...

Enjoy the day with family & friends and remember how lucky we all are...
