Berries & Blooms...

Hi all..

For those of you who know me, you know my obsession with colour...

Tragically, I suffer from a rare disease called 'Fullset Syndrome'... well, not so rare in the colorful Art World... what is 'Fullset Syndrome' you may ask??? I'm glad you asked... in case you too suffer from the disease that costs you a fortune to remedy... but unfortunately not cure...  there is no cure!
So, what is it exactly? Put in simple terms... you have to buy the 'Full Set' of colours... whether it be paint, inks, pencils or pens... you have to have the full set or all is not right in the world... sad I know, but, I know I am not alone in my journey... there are others out there with the same addiction!

Fortunately, working in an Art Store, I offer an safe environment where we don't judge... all are welcome to come and purchase the 'Full Set' of colours... we won't tell your other half how much you are spending on art supplies... what goes on in the 'Art Store' stays in the 'Art Store'... you are encouraged to take home your luscious stack of colourful paints, inks or pencils and add them to your ever growing collection of supplies at home... (you are more than welcome to do this in the shroud of darkness when all are sleeping in the house... they don't need to know how much you have spent...) ...spend the next day sorting them lovingly in rainbow order... yes it is all about the rainbow... (another very serious disease called 'Rainbowitis'... yes, I have this as well...) ...realized you have missed lunch, not put the load of washing out and should have cleaned the floors... the dog is giving you the 'stink eye' wondering when he is getting fed.... you then look back at what yummy colourful goodness you have sorted out and think to yourself... now time to create something awesome... oh crap... look at the time... the day is gone... better sort something out for tea... well there is tomorrow... there is always tomorrow... 😜

So, today's 'share' is a painting I did a while ago... so much fun to paint using all sorts of scratchy bits and pallet Knives... following a awesome tutorial from the very talented Nikol wikman... check out her instagram link below...

So, grab a brush and simply give it a go... trust the process and enjoy...
thanks for popping by...

Have a great day...

Luv Deb x
